Unprofessional interviewers created a toxic interview environment. My experience mirrored others', confirming biases mentioned by previous candidates. The interviewers appeared to derive entertainment from candidates' failures, providing insight into the company's culture. It seems the company overlooks the mutual nature of interview training and preparation.

Practical problems that were different than your typical leetcode style questions. They let you look stuff up and use AI if you need it. Interview consisted of phone screen, and then full loop with hiring manager, system design, past project review.
Recruiter sent me a take-home assignment. I spent more than 8 hours on it, only to be rejected 5 minutes after the screening call because they hadn’t set up the ATS filters and didn’t check my application thoroughly. Promised to send a follow-up email the next day and, of course, they didn’t. Super unprofessional, no respect to applicants time
