Entretien
Initial screen with recruiter, then passed to hiring manager, then onto a panel interview with 4 different people.
It felt like a lot of people were on edge in the organisation, I'm assuming they are under a lot of pressure as the competition is now catching up. By the time I'd reached the end of the panel, I was convinced that I didn't want to work there. Luckily for me, I didn't get any response for 2 weeks from them (I didn't chase as I was quite happy to not be put through) but I couldn't believe they had such a bad candidate expeirence!
Imagine going through 3 rounds of interviews (7 different ones) and not being provided any feedback or anything at all.
Anyway, 4 weeks later I received an automated rejection e-mail from them out of the blue, made me laugh.

The first call is an HR screening, then spoke to the hiring manager, great chat, not structured as a question/answer but very comprehensive nonetheless! Seems to be a great company to work for!

Entretien
I had two interviews with Abnormal Security, initially with Talent Acquisition who were personable, professional and communicative. I then met the hiring manager, Global VP and had a very different experience. He started the call by asking for 10 mins which I assumed was a comfort break but turned out that he wanted to “de-squeak” his chair! He then told me he was unprepared for the interview and hadn’t even looked at my CV. As a result he simply started to call out job roles I’ve held over the last 25 years and ask very basic questions. As the interview was only 45 mins but in actuality, 30 mins of interview time, this sporadic approach was ineffective. I didn’t get any time to ask questions and he didn’t get any understanding of my experience due to the chaotic and unprofessional structure of the interview. Unsurprisingly I wasn’t progressed to the next stage based off of this interaction. I would rather the manager have rescheduled if he was busy and distracted. It was a terrible experience and one I hope he never repeats with another candidate.
