Interviewing with Abbott's new marketing analytics role that was extremely shifty and kept changing the role's responsibilities and expectations. After 2 months and 7 rounds of interviews with recruiters and team members, they decided to add (extremely last minute) new credentials for candidates. Complete waste of time. Tardiness: each call with a team member included waiting 10 minutes after the interview time had begun. This caused a huge spike in anxiety and losing that time to nothing. Once an interviewer didn't even show up to the pre-planned call and I was waiting for over 20 minutes before I had to reach out to the recruiter to see what was going on. Complete waste of my time, for nothing. Lastly, they don't know what they want. All three recruiters told me that the role was remote possible but more hybrid (1 day in the office) and instead, the hiring manager told me the expectation was 3 days in the office. If you decide to apply for a role with Abbot, double or triple check with the recruiter or HR the expectations before or you'll get scammed. 10/10 do not recommend applying or interviewing with Abbott or its subsidiaries.
