The interview process was bewildering. I was invited to what was described as an informal 30-minute screening call, but the recruiter ("senior talent acquisition") ran it like a full interview.
He asked me what I knew about the company, repeated back what I had said, and then told me to go through my work experience from the very beginning. He provided no information about the role.
When I tried to clarify what level of detail he wanted, he interrupted and criticised how I was presenting myself. Instead of assessing my skills, he lectured me for a few minutes on what I “should” be saying, which was very patronising.
The way he run the interview was so unprofessional that I genuinely wondered if it was a scam. After the call I checked LinkedIn and even considered contacting the company directly to confirm the interviewer’s employment.
At one point he suggested restarting the conversation or rescheduling the interview, but by then it was clear the call was not productive. The overall tone felt like a power play, not an attempt to assess my fit for the role.

Applied online via Linked In then had an initial telephone interview followed by a face to face interview. It was a pleasant and smooth process and they were flexible with timings.
