initial application and questionnaire. After that was invited to take a mechanical aptitude test. Had to travel 3 hours away at own expense to take test. Pass/Fail test and you get the results immediately. I passed and three days latter was asked to come in for a in person interview with an AT&T manager. There were 6 of us at the interview in which the manager gave a detailed explanation about job, benefits and expectations. Next he took us in individually for a one on one interview in which he asked 4 or 5 opinionated questions and what if situations. After the interview waited a few months and was finally given a conditional job offer. However my background check came back with a few minor glitches and was dropped immediately.
