- Completed On-Site Interview.
- Next Day, Email States "Not A Match, Going With Another Candidate, Apply For Something Else".
Email threw me off a bit.
HR was awesome, Interviewer was pretty cool, all was going great.
I applied along with 8 other friends, totaling 9 together.
Everyone was hired but 2 of us, me(4+ yrs exp.) & another(1+ yrs exp.).
5 of 7 friends that are hired had hardly any experience.
Even some felt that they had did terrible & had no connection with their interviewer.
I was told numerous times they were hiring 600 applicants for a new floor that was soon to open.
We came to a conclusion of possible discrimination due to AT&T Sunrise facilitating approximately 85% - 90% Black.
The 7 total that were hired:
- 1 Asian female (Dark Skinned)
- 2 Black females
- 4 Black males
I'm of White complexion as the other is the same, both males.
Not to mention, Human Resources & Interviewer were Black.
This is what WE saw, not just me.
For obvious reasons, we found this to be odd even if it wasn't racial intent.
