Talked to the hiring manager twice before having a half day presentation+interview with various teams. Pretty standard for PhD R&D. They offered me salary for PhD with 1-3 years “relevant” experience. I have 2.8 years post-PhD experience but I was in the military for four years, which they don’t view as relevant experience to my chagrin. I therefore declined the offer. They were very nice and seemed like they’d be great to work with but their salary offerings are pretty far below their competitors.

Entretien
I had initial phone interview with the recruiter asking general questions about background and why interested in the company. After than another half an hour technical interview with the hiring manager and then we proceeded to the panel interview. Panel interview was few hours with ~40 minutes of technical talk of my research and then one on one interview with the team.

I applied online and quickly got the phone interview. The recruiter simply asked my experience, background and visa status. He also did not ask too much behavior questions. The whole process just lasted 20 mins.
