First Interview: Met with the General Manager and the company President and talked in detail about my education and background and asked for specific events where I have performed certain sales, marketing, and customer service-related activities. Described that they needed someone who was able to learn new software quick and I elaborated further on my technology background and detailed work about my prior positions. Tested me on my knowledge of Excel on the spot. Second Interview: Met with the Sales Manager and General Manager again to review my background once more. I explained the 5 strategies to effective sales and was told I would be working with Distributors and Doctors, so it would mostly be coordinating B2B sales activities. My advice is to be open and honest because you will be tested on your skills.

Manager himself called and scheduled the interview. Initial phone interview is the basic questions, and general info about resume and references and academic/work background. After phone interview, was called for an inperson interview and about resume in more detail. Before interview, had an employment form to fill out (didnot have an opportunity to fill it out ahead of time - would have liked that). Interviewed by both manager, and second round by President of the company (before final okay and job offer).
