      Entretien

I was asked some questions I felt were sort of personal. I was already employed elsewhere at the time of this interview and had reliable transportation plus this location was only 15 minutes from my home, but he had a very big problem apparently with the fact that I didn't own a car (I'm applying at a grocery store - do I really need to explain this?) or a license (I had another valid form of ID). He asked me why I didn't have a license (because I don't have a car?) then why I didn't have a car and then if I was saving up for one all while looking at me as if I were irresponsible. He couldn't get his head around that. Very big problem with it. He also asked why I didn't want to work full-time as if he was really only looking for full-timers. I clearly checked the box for part-time on my application and he called me in for an interview anyway. I told him (the interview kiss of death) that I was thinking of going to college in the near future. He tried to be neutral about that. He also was very clear that I was applying for a job where I would basically be overworked...It was like they *knew* they were *overworking* people but didn't care and you needed to not care too. He told me the wage he could offer me then qualified that with "but you earn every penny of it." I really didn't like the way this was sounding. I'd been hired in jobs where I was worked hard (overnight truck unloading/stocking shifts) but was never told beforehand that it would be that way so I was forced to assume that this place just worked you to the bone. They told me there would only be 2 people working at any time in the store so you would be doing double duty a lot. They play cop and ask if anything will show up in your background check or drug test then look at your eyes to see if you're lying. They will not ask you this once, they will ask you if you're *sure* they won't find anything and then look at you for a moment after you say they won't. Again. It was not a good interview experience and knew I wouldn't take the job if offered it before I even left the parking lot. I think they aim to try to weed people with a mind of their own out because their attitude in interview puts people with that sort of mind off wanting to work for them.

Not difficult at all. There is a two step interview process where the first one you meet with the manager and the second you meet with the general district manager.

Management completely disorganized didn't know they set up "group" interviews. It wasn't group it was a 1 on 1 ...2 minute conversation. Recieved a denial email wow you made a decision after 2 minutes. This company is a joke
