I arrived and met the area manager and we went into the staff room, First he wanted to get to know me then asked a few questions but was relaxed and calm. He spoke about himself aswell and told me about the store and the next steps after the interview. He made it seem very positive and as if I had defintely passed to the next stage, saying things like " you'll do that when you come in for the trial day" So I was very suprised when I heard I didn't get through.
