Entretien
It was good, they ask you some probability and expected value questions. For round 4, they asked a lot of questions on what you would be willing to pay for a game of some expected value.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez AKUNA CAPITAL (New York, NY) en sept. 2025
Entretien
1st round: 80 quick mental math questions in 8 min + 30 sequences questions in 16 min; hard to say whether it is difficult
3rd round: market making game with "alphabet games"
OA with coding, followed by a one-way video interview with math, first round of standard algo question, final round with one math interview one coding interview. Overall pretty standard quant questions
In a negative interview scenario for a quantitative role at Akuna Capital, the atmosphere feels tense, with palpable pressure hanging in the air. As the interview progresses, the candidate struggles to articulate their responses, stumbling over technical questions that should be well within their domain. Their attempts to communicate their problem-solving strategies are marred by ambiguity and lack of clarity, failing to impress the interviewers with their analytical prowess. Overall, it's a disheartening experience marked by missed opportunities and a failure to showcase the candidate's true potential.
