J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez AHEAD (Chicago, IL) en juill. 2022
Entretien
I was very clear in my cover letter and resume that I have a business-level knowledge of SaaS and cloud computing but that my sales experience per se is in another vertical (financial services). The recruiter still scheduled an interview, and only after 40 minutes did she ask "Do you have experience selling cloud solutions?" I said, "No, I do not. However, as I stated in my cover letter, I do have a working knowledge of cloud-based technology and I am assuming I would receive additional training on this during onboarding." To which she replied, "Yeah, like training and professional development." (???)
Why would you waste 40 minutes of my time and yours if you could have avoided this interview by just reading my resume?
Honestly, I got a very bad impression of the company from this interaction. It certainly would not have been a good fit anyway as I prefer to do business in a way that respects people's time. Imagine if I went into a meeting with a potential client without even knowing what industry they operated in? Yikes.

Question 1
Do you have experience selling cloud-based solutions? (It doesn't matter if you were good at this, it just matters that you did it...)
