First round was exploratory based on my current work ,I was shortlisted for the next round. Next round is a machine coding round where you have to setup the database and write a full working project kind of thing with rest apis making crud call etc to Database. I was able to complete the given two rest apis, obviously I had to do lot of googling as in my current work I don't have to write much apis so do not remember some of the things. Googling was allowed, eventually both rest apis completed the guy test all the cases and said good to me. He asked why in your company you guys are not frequently changing rest apis, I tried to convey him in as B2B and not very ui centric company,our main and most focus towards writing ,modifying and scaling backend services. I think he did not understand well as he was just 2 years experienced and trying to judge me... !! I am also an NITIAN !!and working in much complex domain then Acko. Only thing I am pissed of they waste mine around 3 hours for doing all the setup etc to give an interview.
