Applicants will go through a stringent selection process. Those displaying leadership and management potential will be selected to go through a challenging 36-week residential training at the Hong Kong Police College. Upon satisfactory performance in a series of practical, physical and academic assessments, Probationary Inspectors will first assume frontline positions as Patrol Sub-Unit Commanders and embark on a structured career path for junior inspectors.
Process was very detailed and in depth. Spoke with HR Rep first and then line director. Process was focused on technical ability mostly. Had an initial phone interview.
