I appeared for interview at ABB ability innovation center Bangalore.I applied in linkedin and got call from HR Veena. IT was scheduled on a Saturday. First round was technical where conceptual questions from .net C# was asked, some real life problem solving, approach etc. Then was asked to explain architecture of my previous project, design pattern followed and why. Overall it was a good interview. This was followed by a managerial round where it looked they are much bothered about my current salary as it's higher that their budget. Not sure why did they even call!!They some basic formal managerial question and I was told they will call me next week for final discussion. It was a pathetic experience because they didn't have basic courtesy to update the status of the interview even after 2-3 weeks. The manager was asking me my start package and end package of all my previous employment. Seriously!! If they don't have budget they could tell clearly what is the point of telling me that I shouldn't switch for increment!! Also, I am an architect in my current organization and they were expecting me to join as a developer and report to a team lead. Overall I would say if you are expecting high salary then this is not the place to go, they will reject.
