Entretien
Was emailed on a Tuesday to set up an initial interview for the following Thursday as I was leaving for vacation. Had to email the Talent Advisor three times to receive a time and link for the interview which was provided at 6pm the night before. The Talent Advisor was 15 minutes late to the call and tried to insinuate that I was mistaken regarding the time (though Microsoft auto-populates across timezones). The interview was not an interview but the Talent Advisor telling me I scheduled too far out and in the six days between their initial contact and the first interview they made their final decisions. The Talent Advisor then lectured me on “hopping on it” and scheduling interviews “in a shorter timeframe.” It was a frustrating and messy process that I don’t think is indicative of AARP as a whole but their contractors and chapters working from false - and messy - urgency.
