It takes forever to get an interview here. You normally have to know someone that works here. Your resume is filtered and is only seen by the hiring manager if it makes it through the filter and they only see a few. Some locations do group interviews. The home office does a gruelling few hour interview and you are taken to at least three people not including HR. They do not do your background check until after you accept. If a red flag comes up you may have quit your job and not get hired. Be accurate on salaries even prior to your current. If you don't know say approximate. Don't add bonus to salary. Most times the background check company delays the process and your start date will be delayed. Right or wrong HR has no shame in doing thus to you and doesn't care about your perception of the company.
