Make a project with using the Google Books API. Spent 40+ hours on the initial project. They asked to see changes which I then implemented. No interview. Disrespectful to ask for such an investment of time and then not even grant an interview IMO.

Short 30 min interview with a recruiter asking a few behavioral questions. The recruiter must have been having a bad day or something, as he was not personable at all. It felt like a formal Q&A rather than just having a conversation about the role.

2. Submit a coding project, fully tested and written in your favourite language.
3. On site interview going through your project and giving feedback.
