There were three rounds, two over the phone and one in person. One with an HR rep - surface level questions. One with what would be my boss - slightly deeper questions about my skills and what I expect from the job. The last one was in person with both the second round interviewer and the department head. It was comfortable and more casual than I expected. We got into my tech interests and how I see this job playing a role in my future development
