It’s your standard solutions engineer interview process.
Round 1: Recruiter (Internal or External)
Round 2: Common sense & behavioural check up. Similar to round 1, but this time with someone from the Sales team or Solution Engineer team.
Round 3: Hiring Manager / Senior Solution Engineer for the behavioural & technical interview.
Round 4: Technical Presentation about a topic/product of your choice. It doesn’t have to be a 1Password Product. Just what you’re comfortable with presenting.
For all rounds, just be yourself, as they’re looking for the one person in a thousand that can communicate the technicals, not the technical domain knowledge itself.
For round 2, utilise MEDDPICC language.
For round 3, look up their products more deeper.
For round 4, just be confident and ace the standard behavioural questions.
For me, personally, as per them, I aced all the rounds and they were extremely happy with me at all stages. However, salary was too much and they couldn’t go above the maximum £95k bracket.
When asked for feedback, they declined to provide me with any and cut off contact.
The process took roughly 2 months, with a rough extra 2/3 weeks due to the Christmas break.
I’d recommend reading the annual security report, or using an LLM to summarise it for you. Will help in the entire process.
