I had an initial interview with HR, which went well enough. In that interview, she told me that I'd be meeting with the hiring manager and a member of the team next and that she'd reach out later that day or next day to book those interviews. 10 days went by before hearing something. And the message I got was that they are going in a different direction with the job itself. I saw that the job got reposted, but with the exact same job description, no changes. I asked her if she could give me feedback on the change or my gaps as I didn't get to even speak to my work experience much and no reply at all. I think it's really shameful setup expectation of more interviews, which I then spent hours prepping for, only to send a message like that 10 days later and not even having the decency to reply to explain or give any feedback. This seems like a common issue based on other posts here. Just ghosting without any communication. True culture and personality is shown through how you treat through all types of interactions and I think this speaks volume about the character and respect this company shows people. It would take a few minutes to do something decent after I invested a lot of time into the process, but instead they don't think it's worth their energy.
