Cold impersonal screening interview conducted by 3rd party recruitment firm. Before I answered my 5th question before they shared any information surrounding the role I understood this wouldn’t be a culture fit for me and opted out of the process mid interview. The market is livening back up with job opportunities. Expecting candidates to sit through an intense first round zoom interview with three word responses and fake smiles in between detailed personal accounts is unacceptable.
