There was a first interview with HR in a standard format: the interviewer introduced the company, I talked about my experience, and I asked questions. They promised to provide feedback, regardless of whether it was positive or not, within a few days. A week passed with no response, and my polite follow-up also went unanswered.

The HR round was great — the recruiter was professional, clear about expectations, and communicated very well. She invited me to complete a Git coding task and asked me to submit it within three days. After that, I was invited to the next interview round with an engineer. Unfortunately, the technical interview was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The interviewer seemed disinterested from the start and even mentioned that the session would be shorter than scheduled. He asked me not to go into too much detail about my past experience since they already had my CV, which made the conversation feel rushed and unprofessional. When I explained my coding solution, he said it was a good implementation and asked only one brief technical question about alternatives for REST pagination. After that, he gave me time to ask questions, and surprisingly mentioned that I would probably never meet him because he was overwhelmed with interviews — which was very confusing and discouraging. Overall, it felt like they were not genuinely interested in hiring or evaluating candidates properly. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME INTERVIEWING WITH THEM! YOU DESERVE BETTER!
