About the Role
We’re looking for someone to take ownership of materials, suppliers, and logistics across our job sites and shop.
This is a hands-on, driving-focused role. A large portion of your time will be spent loading, transporting, and delivering materials to job sites and customers.
You are not just coordinating logistics—you are executing them in the field.
This role will be equipped with a company cell phone.
This role is well suited to someone with strong construction experience who wants to stay active and involved, while working in a more flexible and sustainable role.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive company trucks and trailers to deliver materials to job sites and supply customers across the Fraser Valley / Lower Mainland
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely, ensuring deliveries are complete, accurate, and ready for crews or customers
- Coordinate delivery timing with crews and customers, and handle real-time issues (changes, missing items, site conditions)
- Perform site support as needed, including site clean-up and dump runs using a dump trailer
- Plan daily and weekly material needs with project managers and communicate clearly with the shop to ensure materials are prepared on time
- Work with the shop to stage, verify, and track outbound and inbound materials (quantities, specs, organization)
- Act as the link between field crews and shop, providing clear updates on delivery status and job readiness
- Participate in short daily huddles to align on priorities and resolve issues

Key Requirements (Driving & Logistics)
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Trailer towing experience is required
- Comfortable driving trucks with loads in varied site conditions
- Heavy trailer endorsement or equivalent strongly preferred
- Class 1 or Class 3 license is a strong asset
- Experience loading, securing, and transporting materials safely
Applicants without trailer towing experience will not be considered.
Schedule & Structure
- Spring & Fall: On-call / part-time based on workload (typically 20–35 hrs/week)
- Summer: Variable full-time (approximately 35–50 hrs/week depending on workload)
- Winter: Reduced hours or seasonal layoff
