Avantages
None at all since management refuses to see the forest through the trees.
Inconvénients
The most recent review title: “Try hard to make employees happy, which in turn makes customers happy.” What management needs to do is: a) Stop using their Midwest office as a a backwater cash cow, all they see are short term dollar signs. b) The fact that they have been in business as a 15 year start up so they use a median to average length of service for employees. The truth is 18 months per employee. Not a good sign, management, take notes. c) An HR Director that I know said recently that you can "only throw stuff at employees for so long". Correct. Stop with the tote bags, pens, bagels and parties trying to whoop up an oh so fun place to work and start putting that money in to SALARIES. A number of your employees are working two and even three jobs in order to not have to choose between putting gas in their vehicles and fed their kids. d) The talking head that is the President pulls out the line “Try hard to make employees happy, which in turn makes customers happy.” but it means zero, really. It just sounds good and because he can be very motivational and a good speaker, it is believable. Very very sad.
