Avantages

Pros: -Unity actually cares about my wellness; they offer a wellness package that includes a $100/month stipend, 100% covered health insurance which includes infertility treatment and a full-suite of mental health services -The management is actually interested in internal upward mobility -My boss cares about my development and actively helps me achieve my goals -The work life balance is wonderful, I can go home at the end of the day and enjoy my time as I choose -I get fed everyday, and it's good food -There are regular 'Town Halls' hosted by the CEO where we get to learn about high-level strategic initiatives and ask questions in a comfortable environment -Unity has a flat structure: roles are clear, teams are small, and it feels like the work your doing makes a direct impact -I get a ton of PTO and holidays throughout the year, including floating holidays that I get to use whenever I want

Inconvénients

-The food sometimes gets boring or has a weird theme

Thanks for your feedback and details around some of the perks, benefits, PTO, career path, and development. Agree that our perks and benefits are amazing- we have things like paid gym membership, commuter benefits, generous holidays and vacation time, amazing paternity and maternity benefits, and free lunches/snacks. Our culture is flat and career development discussions happen 3xs a year at least- as we value hearing from our employees on their goals and aspirations.

Avantages

-Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

Inconvénients

-CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
