      Avantages

      The culture was very supportive and encouraged innovation. Everybody was looking to make a positive impact at the university and for the students.

      Inconvénients

      As it is such a large organization, that is part of the larger UC system, sometimes there were some bureaucratic aspects that could be frustrating.

      Great institution serving a diverse student population. Plenty of interesting research labs. Decent benefits.

      Inconvénients

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
