      Good benefits, job security, low expectations

      Inconvénients

      Unresponsive management, you have to pay for your own parking, you are replaceable, boring work, lots of red tape, you will never get a 4/4 on your yearly review. never got a raise. our department did not hire within.

      Great institution serving a diverse student population. Plenty of interesting research labs. Decent benefits.

      Inconvénients

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
