Avantages
The people are undoubtedly the best thing about the firm. There's a lot of knowledge to be spread and plenty of friendly people willing to help. You're surrounded by grads from Stanford, Berkeley, Cal Poly, and a myriad of other quality schools. Pretty standard projects for a firm this size in the bay area: research labs, schools/campuses, tech buildings, and office buildings.
Inconvénients
Some of the senior principles fit the stereotypes of the unapproachable, abrasive old white guy. The construction industry is still very much traditional in this regard as these folks have been working for decades and are fortunately on their way out the door for retirement soon.
