Lots of job opportunities! High levels of staff turnover mean there’s always a job here! Rococo used to be a great place to work with some wonderful people... None of them are there anymore. They were all (allegedly of course) bullied out of their jobs, made redundant in a highly dodgy manner, or sacked with dubious cause. Those that are still there stood by and let that happen. Make your own judgement. A company with ethics and soul! Well, it used to be. Far, far from the case now, though unfortunately the new company has managed to carry that reputation forward despite morally-reprehensible practices. Many of the 40 or so staff to leave the company in the last couple of years (yes, 40- that’s nearly the entire company!) ended up mentally or physically ill as a result of their experiences, and were also simply so exhausted and relieved to be out of there that few have wanted to revisit their experiences with reviews. Upper management do also like to encourage staff to post 5* reviews on here, so every time there’s a truthful one, it’s followed by one that is clearly just plain rubbish. Let’s see if that trend repeats itself... An innovative company with great products! Well, again....those days are long gone. Those with true passion for the company, the product, or in the kitchen those with true chocolatier skills are long-gone, and replaced with yes men. And it shows. Hang on, I was supposed to be writing pro’s. I forgot! I’ll be honest, are you a ‘Yes man’? Are you the sort of person for who money is everything and that has no ethics? Can you happily work for a man for who the phrase ‘would sell his own grandma’ doesn’t even come close to describing his utter lack of compassion or ethics, and at the same time manage to survive from day to day waking up in a cold sweat wondering whether you’ll be next? If so, go for it!
