Avantages

Working at Rillet has genuinely felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help build something meaningful alongside an incredibly talented team. The culture is one of the strongest I’ve experienced, collaborative, ambitious, and filled with people who truly care about each other’s success. There’s a huge amount of ownership and growth potential here, especially for people who are excited to take initiative and make an impact early. Leadership is extremely supportive and approachable, and some of the best people I’ve worked with in the industry. It’s rare to find a company this early where the product, team, and opportunity all align so well.

Inconvénients

Because the company is growing so quickly, change is constant and things can evolve fast, which may feel uncomfortable for people who prefer a lot of structure or predictability. That said, it also creates a huge opportunity to learn, grow, and have a real impact on the direction of the company.

Avantages

*A ton of autonomy and ownership from day one *Extremely smart, genuine, and collaborative team *Strong sense of alignment — everyone is working hard toward the same goals *CEO is very transparent and communicative about company direction and priorities

Inconvénients

Fast-paced environment with demanding hours at times, though fairly in line with expectations for a high-growth startup and nothing out of the ordinary for any other start-up

Avantages

The product, co-founder/CEO, and the employees are amazing. There is so much opportunity as a company to actually win. The customers genuinely are a main focus and being surrounded by people who are so smart and passionate is very motivating.

Inconvénients

The company grew fast/irresponsibly and in a very short period of time. They didn't put the infrastructure in place to support that growth and as a result, the current culture suffers tremendously. The CoS in the NYC office is like a warden and treats employees as disposable robots that AI could take the place of at any moment. People are expected to grind for 12 hours a day, with zero regard for work/life balance, heads down and mouth shut. They say they are against "hustle culture" and the 9/9/6, but then wildy contradict that with their actions and expectations. If you aren't in the office from 8am-8pm daily for 3+ days a week, you get shunned and looked down upon (at least in NYC, SF has its own issues). Obviously startups are intense, but the lines for humanity are blurred. People's days are numbered and if you don't play the politics, then you suffer the consequences, regardless of your output. There's a very obvious bias towards women and a "startup bro" vibe that's inescapable, especially amongst leadership.
