Avantages
Residents are amazing, good pay, hours were ok (sometimes not enough shifts available)
Inconvénients
There were really great coworkers but then there were coworkers that were incredibly diminutive, disrespectful, rude and caused a lot of drama between employees with their constant need to gossip about other coworkers and make the job difficult for those around them (the feeling of being judged, walking on eggshells and forcing myself to keep quiet was a constant when having to work with these employees). Management are all friends with each other and the select few psws that kept causing issues for the other psws (received special treatment from management, when multiple issues were brought up about them over the years, management would let it slide most of the time). Management also would not communicate with employees on whether complaints/situations that were brought up were addressed (extreme lack of communication). I was warned by many psws to be wary of management and those select psws and I have to say that these warnings had firm reasoning behind them. Eventually quit because the toxic environment really surpassed the pros of the job and I would rather work elsewhere for lower pay than keep dreading my next shift and worrying about who I'll end up having to work with (or rather, work around).
