Avantages

Some nice people to work with. Office in good location.

Inconvénients

Used to be Talisman Energy, but was taken over by Repsol, a company from Spain. The Spaniards are very hard to work for. They're very secretive and don't share information very well. Repsol used to be part of the government and it shows. They still have the government mentality about running an organization, including inefficiencies, the hierarchical system, etc. Head office in Spain is very demanding. Work/life balance is poor. Management in Spain is slowly shutting dow the office so it remains uncertain what jobs will remain in Canada and what jobs will be moved to Spain. As people quit or are laid off, they aren't replaced and the remaining staff is expected to do more work with fewer people.
