Perspective commerciale
Avantages
Great potential for collaboration across disciplines, make impact with applied research. Good if you just want to sit out years I suppose - the culture is not one to take risks or have ambition.
Inconvénients
No transparency, big differences across organization in culture, ambition, salary, etc. No support for self development (eg training budget), no support to develop as researcher (eg publication, commissions, time. Decisions and processes determined from financial perspective only, effectively becoming a place with the salaries of a university, the hours and level of competence of a medium consultancy. Might change with new ceo since late 2023 but wouldn’t hold my breath.
