Avantages
Bottom line: Not a bad place to work if you're specifically looking to build a career in the industry. Most teams travel frequently (others may consider this a con). The company's demographic is primarily young, active and likes to have fun. No red tape and everyone works directly with the founder. Extremely laid back atmosphere with casual dress, office dogs and the ability to come and go from the office as you please (but no working from home). They spend $ on technology which means valuable experience for employees. Free swag.
Inconvénients
Bottom line: Compensation is below average, which is why I think it only makes sense to work here if you're passionate about the industry or you're just getting started in your career. Talent isn't very good, of course there are exceptions. Cliquey like high school and not diverse. Little structure. The company's priorities change often, and it's not clear how each role contributes to the big picture. Virtually no HR. No employee evaluations. Buffalo Grove.
