      Avantages

      If you work at a center level and not corporate, you get a free gym membership. More vacation/sick time than most companies give.

      Inconvénients

      Absolutely horrible management from the corporate level all the way down. Disorganization, inconsistency, lack of accountability for upper management, procrastination and manipulation from upper management, grueling long hours.

      Avantages

      Relationships with clients, the gym will pay for you to have access to the Volt Athletics app so you can easily manage your clients on it, good place for a beginner trainer looking for experience.

      Inconvénients

      Base pay is $15 for a Fitness Specialist, which requires a degree in exercise science or related degree. You can work at Target for the same pay. It pays $17/ hr for medical fitness appointments (assessments and exercise orientations), which is low considering the education required. Personal training pays $22/ hr and 10% commissions. Overall this is far below average pay for the industry.
