Amazing experience learning how the sausage is really made at a large, dynamic electric utility that has name-recognition in the industry. Puts you in a good position for an exit to consulting. Plus, you can tell people at cocktail parties that you work for Warren Buffett. Great opportunities for smart, fast, early career workaholics.
Inconvénients
Compensation and benefits are not in line with what is available elsewhere. Leadership verges on sociopathic, and rewards other sociopaths. Many employees are lazy and treat their jobs as if they work as a cashier at Walgreens, forcing high performers to pick up the slack. Hostile and toxic work environment with low morale as layoffs and cuts continue.
