Inconvénients

Misleading Company Identity: Despite being a "product company," the Talent Acquisition team operates like a consultancy with a strong focus on manual processes and weekly selection targets, even with an ATS in place. Lack of Career Progression & Management Support: Management shows little interest in employee career progression. Leaders appear more concerned with job security than with effective leadership or developing their teams. Discriminatory Environment: Non-local language speakers may face discrimination, creating an uncomfortable and unsupportive work environment where concerns are ignored. Limited Autonomy & Lack of Respect: Employees are dismissed when offering advice or solutions, with discussions then happening "between leads." There's a lack of trust, as evidenced by the need to use separate laptops for job board access to track usage. Poor Management Quality & Favoritism: Some managers lack basic communication skills and professionalism. There's a culture of forcing out employees who are not "manager's pets." TA Team Dissatisfaction: Many TA advisors feel "trapped" due to poor timing of theirs to join this team. Cliquish Culture: There's a tendency for employees to form groups based on native language. Financial Discrepancy: The company prioritises hiring new external talent over converting existing contractors.

Avantages

Pros was that you had a job (and not for long if they find a way to outsource your position in the company).

Inconvénients

Cons are so many to list, but from the leadership in this company being so out of touch with his/her employees, the restructuring done in their company to save some bucks on their end was crazy brutal, firing all of their talented workers to implement automated programs that did not function properly. Overall, horrible experience with OpenText, lies upon lies when it came to growth opportunities and keeping teams in the dark, no communication what so ever. Their business practices were just plain terrible.
