Thank you for your review and your 10+ years of service to our Company. We are happy to see that you "recommend" Microchip, see it as having a "positive outlook" and "approve of our CEO." We also appreciate your comments on what you see as pros about working at Microchip. We are committed to creating a work environment that produces high job satisfaction and we monitor our progress toward achieving that on an annual basis, along with monitoring how employees feel about communication, teamwork, etc. We strive for continuous improvement all the time. Our comp structure has been mentioned in other reviews as being “not the best” in the industry. However, we do measure our comp structure against regional markets by participating in salary surveys to ensure we are competitive. Beyond that we have a total compensation structure that consists of a base, bonus and stock. The base is in line with market data, the bonuses are paid quarterly (achieving record payouts) and we are very proud to have achieved our 106 quarter of profitability. Our Equity programs are among the best in the industry with both Restricted Stock Units and Employee Stock Purchase Programs offered to employees. Our stock price has had outstanding results over the last 15 months which in turn adds to our employee’s total comp payout.
