Avantages

Benefits on are Ok. You have PLB to take vacations or time off. If you need to call out, there's coverage for you.

Inconvénients

Medical insurance are expensive. Management doesn't care about you, they only care about the client's and making money. No decent raises, only $.50, could be a little higher if you're kissing some butt. Higher up bullies the supervisors and threatens to fire them on the spot. If a client office doesn't like you based off personal reasons of their own and you don't do what they want you to do and not due to overall work performance, they will find a way to get rid of you. There are supervisors who will cherry pick on those they want to help out and prevent from getting fired even if that person had many call outs, had multiple no-shows, constant complaints on work performance, and constantly being removed from different offices. Management expects everyone to do a million things quickly for less than $20/an hour. Majority of workers are all Spanish, and the new hires with no experience barely knows any English. New hires with no common sense will train other new hires. Constant racism and discrimination on the job and nothing is done about it. Constant disrespect from client offices and staff members who aren't your co-workers and treat you like dirt, again nothing is done about it. They bought out another lab and now are reducing hours with no overtime, and will write you up if you go over 40 hours even though the job description says "overtime as needed". Any issues that are no fault on your end will be ignored by upper management and you will be blamed for it. Any issues or concerns, such as your safety, will be ignored by upper management. Constantly losing accounts and if you're office decides to go to another lab, you will either have to reapply to a different office, accept any opening positions that's available at the moment (most are part time, really far from your home, or a float position), are at risk of being terminated.

Avantages

Very low proc rate. I can draw blood with my non dominate arm as well. I've done many split shifts for LabCorp. I've traveled a lot for LabCorp. Sometimes 2hrs in a single day. I go above and beyond. In so much that Advanced Cardiology only wants me to be their tech and no one else. They love having me as their tech. I take out Advanced Cardiology's trash and boxes to the dumpster for them. I do deep dives to ensure the very rare specialty tests are done exactly the way the doctors want them since these test codes are rarely given. And when PTs want a curtesy copy sent to another doctor I make sure to put it in the system and make an additional attachment,. Which makes the PTs very happy😁I also cover Rowan OB/GYN at night when ask at the Sper of the moment. I'm very willing to go above and beyond for my supervisor. I stayed on the clock even though I pulled a muscle around my ribcage and I was struggling to breath; it was hard to keep my asthma under control...I didn't want to inconvenience LabCorp by leaving. So I went to the hospital after my shift.

Inconvénients

speed even though I've done a 25 PT volume IOP by my self.

Avantages

None whatsoever. Everything they advertise as a pro has fineprint that renders it completely useless.

Inconvénients

Wish I could have given zero stars, 1 star feels like lying. The most important thing is that they will mess you over without a second thought. For those who may have just started at the company, quit now before they mess you over. Don't be deceived by the benefits they advertise. Don't think you're valued because they will turn on you the second keeping you as part of the team inconveniences them. They don't pay fairly and blow off people who need to make a living. On top of trash pay, the work environment will have you hating what you do even while you're actively helping people. At PSCs, you're severely overworked and under a microscope. As an IOP, you're underappreciated and taken advantage of. The way they do business is very shady. They constantly have lawsuits against them, Google it. I saw the reviews and didn't listen because I thought a bad job was better than no job in this economy. I was so wrong. For your own mental health, and overall finances, don't work here. EVER. There are other jobs out there that pay fairly and aren't toxic. I found one and am so happy because I could have been trapped in a company going nowhere. Now I am paid what I'm worth and growing in my career, not just stuck choosing between being a phlebotomist, float or a high-stress supervisor. Just wait for a better job. I promise, the trash pay and stress are NOT worth the gas you'll waste driving all over the place even when you're not a float. Just don't do it.
