Avantages
Flexible schedule once you are through training, staff is generally friendly, good percentage of 20-30 somethings working there, exposure to the USPTO and intellectual property world.
Inconvénients
A lot of reading, excess backlog has the facility on mandatory 5 hours of overtime per week indefinitely, no guaranteed pay raises, minimal continuing education assistance if any. Limited upward advancement however management has made some efforts to resolve this it still doesn't lend itself to long term career development.
