Avantages
I have consulted with Intuitive for over 10 years and now am employed part time. The most important thing I can say about Intuitive is that the corporate culture there is extremely healthy. Their “horizontal corporate flow chart” creates a sense of teamwork and collaboration that allows employees to share ideas, feel valued and influence outcomes no matter what their level of employment. This is dramatically different from the “top down” corporate structure I have experienced in the past where decrees are dictated from above and are often disconnected from the realities of actual day-to-day experiences that employees face. I also have to mention that the interview process was very organized and very thorough. A full day schedule of interviews was planned with times and locations clearly outlined in the itinerary. Details of travel and lodging were likewise meticulously handled. And Ken Krings, the recruiter, was always available for questions and followed up quickly to questions.
Inconvénients
My only criticism, being from the Northeast, is that they are centered in California. Certainly not surprising for a big tech company to be in Silicone Valley but, what can I say, I’m an east coaster.
