Avantages
Nice facilities - to impress the public and investors.
Inconvénients
Low pay for responsibility at staff levels. The true priorities are MONEY, REGIONAL MARKET DOMINATION and ADMINISTRATION BONUSES. Contrary to public image, patient care and employee well being are the lowest priorities. Staff is required to work like under frustrating conditions to continually do more with less. This compromises patient safety and quality of care and creates a very stressful environment for staff nurses, CNA's, etc. When HCAPPS scores are good, and departments stay within budget, managers get huge bonuses. The staff just get a bottle of hand sanitizer. There is an intense need for a major shakeup of this organization, but it will likely never happen. Their pockets are deep so they can afford the best lawyers around. Don't ever take them to court! They will bleed you dry!
