Avantages

Fortunately, we have in-house clients who are running agency business.

Inconvénients

Biased Management & Favoritism: There is a pervasive culture of favoritism within the management team, where decisions and opportunities appear to be heavily skewed towards certain individuals. This creates a deeply unequal and unfair environment, significantly undermining overall team morale and trust. Ineffective Korean Leadership: The Korean leadership team seems largely disconnected from the operational realities in India. Their involvement often feels ceremonial, providing little in the way of active strategic guidance or support to improve the working environment. Ineffective and Insular India office COO & Leadership: Leadership within the COO's office demonstrates a significant lack of effective operational capability. Decisions often appear to be heavily influenced by a small, internal circle, leading to poor strategic choices and a dysfunctional work environment. Suppression of Employee Feedback: Employees who attempt to voice concerns or offer constructive criticism are frequently met with negative consequences, including being placed on Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) or subtly pressured to leave. This has fostered a strong disincentive for open communication and genuine feedback. Demotivation of Dedicated Employees: Individuals genuinely committed to high performance and positive contributions often face humiliation, political undermining, or active demotivation. Their efforts are consistently overlooked or obstructed, making it difficult to achieve professional goals and contribute effectively.

Avantages

I’ve had a really positive experience working with the UX team at Innocean. It’s a collaborative, thoughtful team that genuinely cares about the quality of the work and about supporting each other. One of the biggest strengths of the team is the leadership. The UX Director sets a clear vision for user-centered design, process, standards, while also creating a supportive environment where UX designers can grow, experiment, and have a voice in the process. There’s a strong emphasis on collaboration within the group which makes the work feel impactful and connected. The UX team is talented, kind, hard working, and highly engaged. People are willing to help each other, share knowledge, and step in when needed. There’s also a healthy balance between strategic thinking and execution — designers aren’t just pushing pixels; they’re involved in problem framing, research, and shaping solutions. Another standout is the scale of the work. You get to work on high-visibility digital experiences, and there’s continuous improvements in design systems, processes, and research. Like any agency environment, priorities can shift quickly, but the UX team does a great job staying focused on delivering thoughtful, user-driven solutions. Overall, it’s a great place to grow as a UX designer and to work alongside smart, collaborative people who care about the craft and a manager that cares about people. Pros: Supportive UX leadership and clear vision, process, expectations Collaborative team culture Meaningful, high-impact work Opportunity to grow skills across research, strategy, and systems

Avantages

Great location with oceanfront view.

Inconvénients

My experience at Innocean was disappointing overall. Leadership felt inconsistent, and opportunities and visibility did not always seem distributed in a transparent or merit-based way, which made it difficult to navigate the organization effectively. There appeared to be a noticeable internal preference toward certain groups within the company, particularly within the finance team, where this dynamic felt especially prominent. At times, this made collaboration and advancement feel uneven depending on your background or network. Mentorship was limited, with little structured support for professional development. Combined with unclear paths for advancement, upward mobility felt constrained. For those seeking a more transparent, growth-oriented environment with consistent leadership and mentorship, this is not the right fit. Very toxic environment.
