Avantages

Practical Application of Research – You didn’t just study theory, but executed a full research cycle: tool prep, pilot survey, data collection, gamification, and analysis. Skill Development – Gained hands-on skills in survey design, data cleaning, Power BI visualization, and process automation—all highly relevant for your data science career. Innovation & Creativity – The gamified “Shawai Hunt” campaign showed how you and your team used creative problem-solving to boost engagement (2,554 responses in 5 days). Collaboration & Communication – Worked as part of a 6-member research team, plus interacted with mentors, teachers, industrialists, and community managers. Real-World Exposure – Conducted surveys and observations in real settings (Thrissur Pooram Exhibition, Selex Mall), which gave you field experience in data collection. Mentorship & Guidance – Direct mentorship from Inker Robotics staff and your college faculty improved research quality and gave professional exposure.

Inconvénients

Initial Low Engagement – Early surveys had low response rates, requiring extra effort (gamification, reminders, etc.) to reach targets. Time Constraints – Limited internship duration (Apr–May) meant you had to rush phases, especially data analysis and financial insights. Limited Scope Beyond Research – The focus was mainly on market research; less direct exposure to robotics/AI development, which is Inker’s core field. Learning Curve – Required quick learning of tools (Power BI, Python, VS Code, Whisper AI) under pressure, which might have limited depth in each. Team Dependencies – Success relied heavily on teamwork; uneven contributions or coordination challenges may have slowed progress at time
