Avantages
I worked for a small, privately-held software company acquired by Haemonetics in 2007 as part of their expanded market strategy. Salaries remained the same or increased, 401(k) had generous 6% match with immediate vesting, great insurance coverage. Work was well-supported by management.
Inconvénients
Too frequent changes in short-term business strategy and middle / senior leadership made it difficult to work towards long-term goals. Felt a bit like "country cousins" as part of a former acquisition.
