Avantages
They worked around my school schedule, giving me plenty of hours during the school year and letting me work full time in the summer. They actually let people work enough hours to be full time which is better than I can say for a lot of other retail and related jobs, and from what I'm told the benefits aren't terrible.
Inconvénients
I worked in a little independent donation center on the weekends so possibly this is just unique to my situation, but communication from management was just about non existent. Over the 4 years I was there I can count the number of times I met with my supervisor on two hands. Employee turnover is high. By the time I left I was one of the most senior people I knew. Crazy busy in the summer, crazy slow in the winter.
