Avantages
FactSet has really good culture, there is a lot of understanding for life work balance, they have some great benefits like extra days for wellbeing or important moments, paid lunch, paid certifications programs etc. It is also very inclusive, so if that is important for you then you will find yourself very well there.
Inconvénients
Latvia is missing some of benefits which are present in different locations e.g pension plan and there are many cost cuttings e.g one day the snacks are gone, a business travel didn’t happen since few years and it is impossible to get some budget for a team dinner or bowling. Not to mention that we didn’t get a FactSet t-shirt since some 8 years. For the 10th anniversary you get an auto-generated email and that is it. These are small things but it leaves a really bad impression. Growing opportunities seems limited. Lay offs are always handled badly.
