Management can be very lack luster sometimes

you get one free drink per shift- but this only included basic drinks like latte, espresso, flat white...etc. no seasonal drinks or any syrups, had to pay extra for those. so no pros this is probably very dependant on each store though

was honestly awful, given no respect and treated like i was 15. Managers wouldn't give more than a 4 hour shift because they knew they had to give you a break (even though they dont pay you for the break, I don't know why they cared). Discount on food was ONLY when you were on shift if you had a break, which we never did. Expected to do everything, cooking, cleaning, making drinks, taking orders....etc. That is usually fine but it would be just you and the manager (owner of the franchise) who would do everything half hearted so you had to do the majority of it. Criticised for going to the toilet, said multiple times i was on my phone when i genuinely was not. So many issues. Gave the schedule with no notice, was only done a week in advance but would very very often would be the same week, like the wednesday for that week and they would expect you to work the weekend. I worked every single weekend while i was there and rarely weekdays because they needed weekend people only, i did not mind weekends but appreciated some flexibility.
