Avantages
Small company so you know everyone and the dress code was very relaxed
Inconvénients
1. CEO was never around, had another company he attended to more. We went bankrupt and he didn't seem to care or inform anyone about company affairs. 2. I was hired straight out of college, but industry standard pay was double what they gave me. Laughed in my face in the interview when I asked for 5k more. 3. Expected me to be senior level right out of college. Constantly compared me to other employees and berated me for not knowing everything and not being able to lead projects. Despite paying me half of what I deserved and giving no training or real chances to learn 4. No pay raises, bonuses, or chances to grow 5. Compared to most other IT companies, who have rewards programs, activities in office for work breaks, beer and snacks, etc. The environment was bare and hostile. 6. IT Management was horrid. No guidance, negative attitudes, misogyny. HR would laugh and turn a blind eye. Always negative, I came home crying at least once a week feeling like I wasn't good enough. Management talked bad about me and blamed me for things months after I left, even though I left on (what seemed to be) good terms. Refused to answer reference calls further making me look bad, even though I left on my own and worked very hard there. Immaturity.
